EDITS! 1/27

Afternoon Harvest
Before

After

Color Harmony

I wanted to make the tomato picture seem like it was outside with more light. So I used an adjustment layer to lighten the photo then used black to erase the layer on the basket. For the other picture I used the smart filter called fresco, boosted the color a bit and then masked out the bit of plant right in the front.

You did a great job bringing out the red in the tomatoes. You can really see the improvement. Great job!

Once you said that you wanted the tomatoes to look like they were outside, it all made sense and it added light really made the difference. I liked the floral. It had wonderful and bold colors. Great shots

I really like the way that the colors pop on this picture. I also like the way the shadow is darker in the edited one.

I absolutely love the photo of the flower (whatever kind it is… it’s gorgeous!)… and the filter you added is a great way to show off its natural beauty. I really like the tomato photo too – but I actually like the before more than the after! There’s a lot of richness in the colors – the reds and yellows – and I think that could really be played up. Great job!

  5. The bottom picture is cool. I like the effect of the blur that makes it look almost painted.
